NON-LITERACY RESOURCES
Sometimes I come across some real resource finds that aren't Literacy-based but are awesome all the same. So....this is my collection of non-Literacy resources for teachers, parents and students to explore.
Digital Stickers for Remote Learning Feedback
Teachers throughout the world have very quickly responded to the move to remote learning. Our school. like many others, uses a mix of Google Classrooms and Seesaw for providing lesson outlines, content and feedback.
I felt like I was just treading water those first couple of weeks of remote learning, trying to get my head around transferring my lessons into practical online lessons for students learning at home.
During that time one of the things that I really struggled with was feedback. I ended up giving personal, either voice or typed, feedback on each and every piece of work for each of my lessons. I thought my head would explode! But then I came across Digital Stickers.
I initially thought digital stickers would be a cute addition to my feedback, at the very least. as an indication that I had sighted their work. But then I started thinking they could be far more useful than that. So I came up with some checklist-style stickers as well. And guess what? It's easy. You can do it too.

Harvey's Home Page is an amazing collection of mostly mathematics Smart-board based interactives and lessons. There is something here for all grades and Stages. They could be adapted for explicit teaching, as well as maths learning centres and small group work. Check it out!
